Samuel Carl England Forgy was born April 13, 1993, in Moline, IL; son of Michele England and Glen Forgy. He graduated a year early with the 2010 class at City High School. After high school, he moved to Colorado and the following year enrolled at the Community College of Denver for two years before attending the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was preparing to start his senior year studying applied mathematics.
Sam was a pool of knowledge; math was a hobby, not a problem. His love for music was expressed in his songs, often on the strings of his guitar. He loved to learn and to be able to share that knowledge with others, occasionally you'd even get a response with a touch of his sarcastic sense of humor.
His family includes his parents, Michele England and Glen Forgy both of Iowa City; sister, Alyssa Forgy; grandmother, Dolly England of W. Burlington, IA; uncles, Vern Forgy of Cedar Rapids and Jim Forgy of Plymouth, MI; aunt, Stacia Storm of Des Moines and very good friend, Teri Font of Denver, CO.
Sam was preceded in death by his grandparents; an uncle and an aunt.
