Thera Patricia "Pat" Dee

Condolences
I will always remember her kindness and her cheerful face at the library and all around Coralville. Mom enjoyed working for her before she worked for the city. My sister and I send you our deepest sympathies.
Deborah and Family,
My condolences on the loss of your dear mother. I know you are feeling such a great loss. I will always remember moving my mother to Crestview and she was so happy to see that your mom was her roommate. "Oh, it's Pat Dee! She's a friend from Norse Club!" She let me know what a wonderful lady your mom was and I saw that for myself as I became acquainted with her.
Deb, Doug, Diana,
Pat was an inspiration and wonderful friend. A woman of great compassion and warmth that radiated to all she met. Her steadfast support for her faith, her children, and her church will forever be remembered. Her spirit and love lives on through all of us who cherished her and held her close to our hearts. Loved her dearly, miss her greatly, and her memory will always be with both Janet and I.
We met Pat when we joined Coralville United Methodist Church 15 years ago. She is one of the people who we remember as being the first to give us a warm welcome and to help us get involved in the life of the church. We served on several committees with Pat where she was an effective and gracious leader. She always had a smile for everyone but was also very practical and able to speak her mind in a way that got her point across without upsetting anyone. Even though she was unable to attend church for the past several years, she was frequently mentioned by those in the congregation and her loss then and now will be felt greatly.
Deborah and family, so sorry for the lose of your mother. will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Deborah and Family,
Such a wonderful, warm, friendly, intelligent Lady. Her health took her away from her 'real self', her Family, and her Friends, MUCH to early. So sad.
Deb
I wanted to wish condolence on the death of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Deborah - This is Julie from our support group. Steve told the small group Wed about your mom and we are all so sorry. You took such wonderful care of her. Be proud of your mom for the strength she had especially the years after her stroke and be proud of yourself for a loving daughter who adored her mom. Julie
I have soooo many memories I could share. Most of my memories are of her kind heart to her son Doug and I as we did those things that every young boy does, and Pat put up with us. Not too many ladies in town would allow us the freedom we needed to pursue our outdoor adventures. She even put up with the "left overs" we tended to bring home. What a SMILE, what a LADY
Dear Diana:
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was such a lovely lady!! I hope that you are doing great. I'd love to hear about your life.
Love, Mary
Still remember the times Jerry and I spent visiting with Pat while at the fund raiser pancake meals we always seemed to meet. From 4-H grounds to Coralville Firefighters or the Old Capital Sertoma Club at the Iowa City airport.
I remember my earlier days at CUMC when Pat was active with in the church. Such a sweet lady and fun to be with. We didn't see each other later in years (other then breakfast) with us going to a later service.
After Pat's stokes I made a "Hawkeye" blanket for her room at the care center. I stayed a while and told her all about what our families were doing and about the changes going on at church during our rebuilding.
Stan and Betty Bishop would visit on Fridays and take the Church bulletin to her. Pat always had her sweet smile ready and her eyes sparkling. Pat will be missed and remembered fondling.
Our prayers of peace and comfort go out to Debbie and the rest of the family
whom Pat loved dearly.
Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
And before joining the Noon Pilot Club of Johnson County, Pat was a lont-time member of the Pilot Club of Iowa City. Many of us treasure our long-time friendship with her. Della McGrath
Pat was a Charter Member of The Noon Pilot Club of Johnson County, and served the Johnson County area for years, always with a warm smile! We share many fond memories of Pat. Condolences to Pats Family.
