I can only imagine all the lives she touched, and I shall remember when you and your Dad stopped at my office at UIHC with your Mom and I got the biggest smile and hug from her. So sorry to hear of your loss. My first job at the University was working with Mary Jean and later on reconnected with her in Beta Sigma Phi. Great lady. She will be missed.

My husband worked at New Process Laundry in the 60's. Wally Davis, Mary Jean's dad,, was one of his bosses. I always admired the close family connection Mary Jean had with her parents. After reading her obit, I can sense she had a lifelong of loving relationships with many others in her life. She had a fulfilling life & will leave behind many that will miss her.
