Obituary of Gail Ann Cochran

Gail A. Cochran age 75 died peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Windmill Manor Care Center in Coralville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Visitation will begin at 10am, Funeral Service at 11am and a Reception will follow services. Burial at the Oxford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Eastern Iowa Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.  Online condolences may be sent for her family through the funeral home website @ www.gayandciha.com.

Gail Ann Walker was born July 14, 1942, in Miller, MO the daughter of Noble and Carolyn (Wilson) Walker.  Her family moved to the Iowa City area when she was 7 years old, here she attended school graduating from City High School in 1960.  Gail was employed by the former Iowa State Bank, Hills Bank & Trust and the City of Coralville before retiring.  She had married Richard Rogers in 1963, and later married Larry Cochran in 1998.   Gail enjoyed doing crafts, tending to her flowers, traveling to Branson, MO with her husband, Larry; and spending time with her grandchildren!

Her family includes her three children, Kerri Larson (Dennis) of Jesup, IA; Kelli Slocum (Jerry) of North Liberty, and Kevin Rogers of Oakburn, Manitoba, Canada; grandchildren, Brady Larson, Trevor Larson, Jay Slocum, Cori Slocum, Danielle Rogers, Kali Rogers, Jodi Rogers, Aiden Rogers, Sidney Rogers, Jordan Rogers, Jesse Rogers, Jacob Rogers, and Gail’s brother David Walker of Iowa City.  Gail was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Richard Rogers, and Larry Cochran.
