I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Rex. I will miss him dearly.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember all the times I shared with Uncle Rex and Aunt Jean over years.

We will both cherish the time we got to spend with Rex, and Marilyn too. We have many fond memories of sitting in their driveway, sharing thoughts and discussing everything from weather, to neighborhood happenings, to current events. He was dubbed "The Supervisor", as he kept a watchful eye on all things happening in our area. He loved to talk about P&G, and always wanted the latest news. Rex was the best neighbor we could ask for in Coralville. It will definitely be different going forward. He will be missed.. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I want to be like Rex. He was always really laid back. I will truly miss him and I know that he is in heaven. God's blessings to you all.

We are sorry for your loss. Rex was a wonderful person. Bob will never forget the many times stopping by the house, with Rex enjoying the fresh air from his chair in the open garage door, and giving Bob the business about how dirty his car was and when he was going to get a new one. He spoke so kindly of Betty's parents. He was such a caring man, for his entire family. He always mentioned Marilyn when visiting with us. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear that Rex has passed away! I feel REALLY BAD because we can't come to the visitation and funeral!!! :( Our flight to Los Angeles to visit my 90 year old father leaves on Monday afternoon. We didn't go to Jean's funeral because i had the flu and now I'm missing Rex's, a man I liked and respected so much!!!

I remember Jean and Rex coming to one of our children's high school graduation party and I told our best friends who were just about to sit down next to them that you could never find anybody nicer than them! :) My heartfelt condolences to you Dennis and Jennifer and your families. Bob & Mary
