Obituary of Lana K. Hinman

Lana K. Hinman, 66, of Oxford, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017.  A service celebrating Lana’s life will be held 11 am Saturday, June 2^nd at the Oxford United Methodist Church where a potluck will immediately follow.

Lana was born July 22, 1951 in Denver, CO; daughter of Lloyd and Marge Kumm.  She worked for many years at Rockwell Collins in Coralville and married Jack D. Jessup on April 23, 1989 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Her family includes her husband, Jack; mother, Marge Kumm; siblings, David Kumm and Linda Henshaw as well as numerous extended family members.  Lana was preceded in death by her father; sister, Brenda Middelton as well as Jack’s parents.

In death, Lana was able to help others through her gift of donation with the Iowa Lions Eye Bank.
