Dear Pam,
My deepest condolences to you, your children and the entire family. Paul was so kind, gentle and friendly. I’m so glad to hear of your recent travels together. The happiness you shared together over the years and the many memories you have made will always be in your heart and soul. May God be with you now and forever to give you guidance and strength in the days ahead.
With sympathy & much love,
Vicki (Roe) Ades
Paul was a considerate and loving man. He loved to hunt and follow Iowa football. He loved his wife and children and was always in good humor. We loved him and will miss him greatly.
I first met Paul 14 years ago when I joined the Roe family. One of the first things I found out was that we were born only a few miles apart! I always enjoyed Paul whenever our families got together. What a great guy and he was always ready to share a glass of wine with me! I will miss him very much.
Pam and family, just read in the Otutmwa Courier about Paul. I am so very sorry, he was so young. I know you will all miss him so much. Just know that I am thinking of you all.

Dear Pam, I was very saddened to here of your loss. Although I never had the please of knowing Paul, I can tell from the obituary he was a very great and fine person. I am sure you have wonderful memories and the support of a strong family. Sincerely, Sue Connell
I am so sorry to hear about Paul. I went to high school with him and played some football with him and a nicer guy there never was. Always smiled and made you feel welcome no matter who you were. I will pray for your family for strength in your loss.
Dear Ries Family,
I was so very sorry to learn of Paul's passing. In the very short time I knew him, he showed such a zest for life- showing a smile during the most challenging of times.
I am guessing that anyone that met Paul felt blessed by the experience, I know I did.
In sympathy,

Our deepest sympathy to Pam and children on the sudden death of dear Paul. Our hearts are sad -aching really....He was such a sweet friend to so many and faithful member of First United Methodist Church. We will miss our weekly hug greetings at the 10:30 church service and also working at Free Lunch and on committees at church with Paul. May there be comfort in knowing he was a man of faith and truly looked to serve others. God’s blessings to all of you as you begin the grieving process...and know that friends and family are there to lift you up!
