Some things in life are inevitable, but for which we are never ready. Our sincere condolences to the Klein family for your sudden loss. Bette is remembered for many things she led or did at First Christian, which made it a better place and we a better people. We especially remember her care of her parents as she brought them out to Rick's farmstead for a camping overnight. Also, she shared her skills with "parenting" as she helped care for our grandkids for an outing at Kent Park. Together, she and Dave have made the world a better place for her children and grands. Let us celebrate her good life.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Bette was a dear friend and neighbor in Harvard MA. I have sweet memories of growing up with her, horseback riding, music, visiting each others homes and sharing conversations. I knew she would accomplish many things in life. I am sad she is no longer with us but I know she is smiling down on all of you, still guiding, teaching, supporting and most of all loving her family.
To the Klein family.
Words fail to capture the pain of losing someone we love, I pray that the God of peace and the love of family and friends help to sustain you at this most difficult time, and that your hearts receive comfort in knowing that Elizabeth is in God's memory and will keep his promise stated at Job 14;14,15.
We are so sorry for your loss and hold each of you in our thoughts.
I remember Bette as wonderful person. For the love of family and her dogs. I learned a lot from one of her drum circles. My condolences to her family, she will be truly miss.

Dear David and family, My condolences as you navigate the grief and loss of wife, mother, and grandmother. Bette was part of an upbeat women's group called The TEA club and this is where I came to know her sense of humor and her love of family. Seeing her with her sweet dogs at church was always a highlight to my husband and I. She will be greatly missed at First Christian Church. I felt privileged to observe your family as they grew into creative loving individuals. I know Bette was an amazing mother and teacher. Sincerely in Christ comfort, Don and Lin Swanson members of First Christian.
I am truly thankful that Bette was my friend. Such a great smile and laugh. Such a wonderful person so FULL of life and energy, and she shared it with all..
My heartfelt condolences to David and all of the Family.
