I have not kept in touch with Laurene since I moved to Sac City, Iowa 4 years ago, but I have many fond memories of my visits with her for morning coffee and just talking about life and goings on. I also appreciated the times she babysat with my dog while I worked or went on errands--- and I know my dog liked it too.

Laurene captured my heart from the begining of her stay at Briarwood.She became special to me.I would enter her room everyday at work numerous times.She would always say HERE COMES TROUBLE,or HEY LADY.I MISS YOU SO MUCH LAURENE

Laurene's fun spirit and laughter will be missed; our sympathies to the family.

We correspond with Laurene & Carolyn for several years, she sent us information on our ancestry. We finally met her 2 yrs. ago and desired to visit again, we visited just before her passing. She was a loving joy to be with.
