Alice R. Simonson
1920 - 2018
Condolences
Alice was a special person, she always had time to visit and was so kind to everyone. The Johnson and Wright families had an oyster stew in the winter for many years. in the 30's and early 40's. I was born in 1930 and still remember those times before the war. I went to school with the Johnson boys. I give the family my condolences.
Thoughts and prayers to all of Alice's family
I remember Alice when she was here in Laurens she was raised across the road from our family farm. Such a nice lady and I hope I can print the Obituary and put it in our Peterson-Larson family reunion book I will share this with the Laurens relatives here too.
God Bless all your family at this time my thoughts are with you and also with her brother Lowell and wife Jean I will send him a card also.
God Bless you and the family Don, she looks like a beautiful lady.
Dear Barb and family—so very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I do remember stories of her beauty shop and what good perms she gave. She is now with your Dad and at peace. Thinking of you. Pat Williams
CONDOLENCES FOR YOUR LOSS AND BEST WISES AND PRAYERS FROM TEXAS. ALICE WAS OBVIOUSLY A SPECIAL PERSON.
My favorite Aunt Alice, you could make the best Christmas candy in the world, looked forward to it every year as a kid. Had many a stinky permanent in your shop every time Mom, Dad and Don and I came down to see your family. Always had a wonderful time with all my cousins at your big house on Main St. Will miss you for the patient and loving woman you were. May you rest in peace with the rest of your heavenly family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother Bob. When I saw her name in the paper I immediately thought of you and Carol and your father and all his informative nature talks. We will be keeping you in our thoughts. Stay strong.
Dear Barb and Family, My condolences. Your Mom was a spunky gal and I don't think she knew a stranger from what I know of her. The times I met her with you I know she was a good hearted and loving person. She is at rest with your Dad. Take care, Mary McCarthy
So sorry to hear of Alice's passing. I meet here at Super Sixies. I enjoyed talking with here.
Dear Simonson Family....so sorry to hear of Alice's passing. My Mom and Dad ( Curt and Evelyn Smith), knew each other thru the Iowa Conservation Commission. I remember as a girl going to play with the Simonson kids.....I believe your Mother was a beautician like my Mom was. Mom is going to be 98 next month and is the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester and suffers from dementia. I am sending prayers and condolences from the Smith family...and wanted to let you know what fun we had with your family years ago......Sympathy....Susan (Smith) Stone
