Joan, Deb, Juli, Mick, Steve and Angie,
My condolences to all of you.
Jack was my first baseball coach, coaching the Oxford Pony League team. I was a bit of a pudgy kid when I was younger, so he put me behind home plate to be the catcher. A perceptive decision on his part and a fortuitous placement for me as I played that position through high school. He is certainly someone I remember from my youth and a positive influence.

Dear Kahler family
So sorry to hear of Jack's passing, but hopefully knowing he's at peace will eventually dull your sadness.
I was always impressed with his beautiful woodwork. Everything he did was a work of art including his family!
Aunt Jo and family- You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping memories of times past will bring you comfort along with the love and support of family and friends. I have many fond memories of our family get togethers at your various homes in Oxford and hours spent at the softball field with the ever patient Uncle Jack helping/coaching those of us that were struggling. Several years ago when I was back for a visit, he gave me a beautiful carved wood hanger for necklaces that I still use and cherish. I regret that I did not know he spent 4 years in the Navy during the Korean War - a humble and great servant to our country.
Jack was a good man and will now be with God free of pain.
