Gladys was an amazing woman! She is an inspiration to anyone who thinks your age should stop you from doing anything!! Gladys was only in my life for 18 months, but I still talk about her to my friends and family, prayers to her family.

I have been a member of Grace United Methodist, Des Moines, since 1954 and was secretary there 1954 to 1965.

So I knew your Mom and Dad well. Once during directory pictures, the photographer came out to call in Gladys.

Three of us in a line got up: your Mom, Gladys Moranville and me. We had a good laugh over 3 Gladys' in a row.

Most of all, I remember Maynard Printing and my many hours proofing the weekly paper or directories printed there.

Your family has been much appreciated at Grace. I still volunteer in the office in membership records . Your lovely Mom was our oldest member and also the oldest in the number of years of membership. My sympathy to you.
