Obituary of Keith Waggoner

Iowa City resident Keith Waggoner, 65, passed away February 17, 2018, of complications from a heart attack.

Born in Primghar, Iowa, Keith lived most of his life in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he worked in management in grocery stores and later was self-employed.  He is survived by his brother Phil Waggoner (wife, Donna Rouner, daughter Emma Waggoner), of Fort Collins, Colorado.  He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Waggoner, father Delmar Waggoner and brother Dick Waggoner, all of Cedar Rapids.  Keith served as his mother’s caregiver for many years preceding her death. Keith enjoyed hiking, camping, card-playing, sports—the Iowa Hawkeyes, and perhaps most, the Chicago Cubs.  A private service will occur later in Colorado. Memorial donations may be directed to Shelter House in Iowa City.
