Obituary of Barbara M. Fickel

Barbara Mae Fickel, 89, died peacefully at home on March 2, 2018, following a brief illness surrounded by family.

She lived a long life and was known as a strong, caring woman with many stories and great wit.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Fickel.

Per her wishes there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Planned Parenthood or Iowa City Hospice.  Bobi's family would like to thank Iowa City Hospice for their amazing work and support.
