Condolences
Our deepest condolences to you and yours at this time.
Only was able to visit you in the hospital while my husband was in ICU. We both had days when we didn't think they would end. Hugs and good wishes were always welcome from both of us. Know that you remain in my prayers and my deepest sympathy go out to you. Take care in knowing Ed is no longer in pain.
Doris, I now know how my friends felt when they opened the newspaper and seen Steve'sI obit. I was shocked when I opened the press citizen awhile ago and seen that you had lost your life friend/partner. I've learned no words can console you or change what you are going through. Just know I'm here if you feel the need to talk (also have group at Lensings). Hugs are great so am sending you the biggest one and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you
To Doris and Family, Iowa City lost another good citizen with the passing of Ed Wilson....No person ever had more fun on the golf course that Ed, especially when playing with his "golf buddies".....and being left handed, we shared that hazard. Ed was always smiling and enjoying life. We crossed paths many times, either through the Elks Club, Chamber of Commerce, Oaknoll or just having a cup coffee downtown....A good man and a good friend....
Sincerely,
Ralph Radcliff

Doris We are so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. We really enjoyed meeting you and Ed years and years ago when we were Lowell and Margaret's neighbors on Spruce Street. And we appreciated the opportunity to work with you a few years ago to install Ed's walk-in tub (even though there were some ups and downs during the project). You were so gracious and we hope it made life a little bit easier for both of you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and may time accomplish what no words can do.
