Condolences
May the God of all peace grant your family comfort at this time of sorrow, Phillipines 4 : 6, 7, where God promises to guard our hearts at times of distress.
My thoughts are with Jay & family.
Many great memories of John, my friend! Our friendship began when we met as we were both raising our boys at the same apartment complex. Then after I moved away and rented a duplex, John followed and rented the other side! We laughed as we called it a "great neighbor marriage"! Sharing so many good times, dinners, morning coffee on the deck we shared. Always knew we had one another to help out & look out for each other. So many stories I could share ... many great years of my friend & I sharing life daily. Truly one of the most caring souls I have ever known. R.I.P. my friend ... you will always hold a special place in my heart.
Love, Janelle
So sorry for the loss of your brother. Prayers are with you.
My sympathy goes out to the family and friends. God must have bigger plans for him at this time. May good memories help you over this brief period. Sincerely Sandi Lau
Deepest Sympathy to all of John's family. Gone too soon. Thinking of you all at this most difficult time.
I knew John many ears ago, growing up, he was always friendly and kind. I'm sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers to the family.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the members of the Petsche family, I know you all, some better than others. Tom, Randy, Rick and John all worked for Jim and/or his dad Marvin. Charmion and I worked together at Maple Crest. You are a wonderful and special family. I know John will be missed a lot.
Love and prayers to you all. Sue Ingels
Very sorry to hear. John was a long time patient and friend back on the 90s. Great guy. My sympathies to his family.
expressing condolences. I grew up in Lamont and although I know Tom more than the rest of the family I know it's always tough to loose a family member. May God bless.
In 1970 an angel, Charmion Petsche, was sent to me to care for my baby boy, Ben Exline, when I had to return to work. I have always been grateful for the love in your home. John, in particular, stands out. Often I would come to pick up Ben at 11PM and John would be holding him, singing to him or combing his hair. Sweet, sweet man. Your mother must be happy to see him. God bless.
Missing Uncle John's earthly presence. We were reflecting on our collective memories and were always particularly moved by John's welcoming, kind and thoughtful demeanor... how he was always so interested in spending time listening to what someone had to share. John had endless patience and always expressed genuine interest in his care for others. His love is everlasting and his spirit continues as he joins Grandmother in watching over us. Thinking of you all.
I was very saddened to see the news of John's passing. He and I were great friends and shared a "great neighbor marriage" as we laughed with our family & friends about. Living for several years at the same apt. complex raising our sons and later we lived side by side in a duplex. Many fond memories of John, Jay & Joey. I enjoyed all our "round table" discussions on the deck we shared, with a man that was so intelligent. He had a heart of gold and was a very caring soul. RIP my friend. Love, Janelle

Thoughts and prayers are with the family. Remember the good times as you go through this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of John's family during this difficult time.
John was a kind and loving Father, Uncle and Brother. He spent his life trying to help people make their lives more fulfilling. He always played the hand that God delt him to the best of his ability no matter how weak the hand was and never complained or made excuses. John loved to play cards and was known to over analyze once in a while. He was a die hard Iowa Hawkeye fan who always found the positive in the football and basketball teams no matter how bad they were playing. Each and every year to start a new season he would tell you how well they were going to play this year and had them picked to win more games than they would loose. John had a brilliant mind, very intelligent as shown by his graduating from college in 2 1/2 years, yet never was condescending nor arrogant about his intelligence. He was always looking out to help someone in need as he had the greatest attribute of all; he thought of others before himself. John will be missed by many people especially his family as he was one of a kind. Look our for Mom now and rest in peace until we meet again, God bless, Love you, brother tom.
