Mary E. Timmons-Babcock
1954 - 2018
Condolences
Shawna and I grew up as best friends from kindergarten to the 8th grade. From 1981- 1987 , I practically lived at the Babcock castle. Mary was like my second mother. The Babcock’s were my second family.
During turbulent times in my own home, Mary was my guiding light, counsel, and protector. Those things meant so much more to me than most realize. It saved me.
Mary was a great example of wisdom, patience and humor, of which I carry with me everyday. Affectionately, she called me a “weirdo” and it stuck, with love.
Thank you, Mary, for including and accepting this “weirdo”. Also, taking the time to help and heal others.
And great love to Shawna, Jake and all the family. ❤️
Peace be with you.
Jake and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.

I went from kindergarten to high school with Mary, she was a wonderful friend.
Jake, my deepest condolences to the friends and family of Mary. Always the optimist with a knowing smile and a twinkle in her eye, she was a loyal friend. My first memory with Mary was of riding tricycles on my gravel driveway when I was 4 years old, a challenging course that took determination. A bump in the road throughout life never got in her way. While time and distance separated us she was always in my thoughts. She will be deeply missed. Peace, love.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Mary was a kind and gentle soul. She always went out of her way to make others feel better, and I can't count the times she would check on me when I was caring for my mother. She loved her husband Jake, and her family....I know you are hurting without her. The world has lost a kind caring person. Mary will be very much missed.
I am so sorry for your loss of your mother Shona and your beloved wife Jake. I am sure you do not remember me but I met you when your sister Sharon first moved out to Pheasant Ridge apartments about 28 years ago. Shona was just a little girl. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and the rest of her families. She is now at peace.
