Chuck was born and raised on a farm, even after marriage and with their children Chuck and Elayne wanted to live in the country where they could have horses for the kids and all sorts of other animals.  Chuck was active in his children’s lives, supporting them in their school activities, sporting events, and of course their horses.  He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan and NASCAR fan, but most dear to him was his family and friends.

His family includes his wife, Elayne; their children, Christina Frese, and Curtis Frese (Stephanie); granddaughter, Emerald Frese; sister, Juanita Cochran; aunt, Luella Rose and cousin, Virginia Scheetz; and nieces and nephews, Jeff Cochran, Lisa Cochran Feinberg (Phil), David Kinney, and Sarah Kinney Morrissey (Kyle).
