Dear Barbara and Jill,
Your father was a good friend of my father, John Swenson, Jolley, Iowa.
Weir was the only person Dad trusted to "run" the Jolley Coop Elevator, when he had to take a few days off for an appendectomy. I remember your dad raised minks and kept them in your grandmother's basement. I always enjoyed your father.
Barb and Jill,
Sorry to hear of your loss! It is very hard to lose someone near and dear to your heart. When my mom passed away July 23, 2008 I learned you take one day at a time, you live for the memories and it shows your support system.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

To Weir's family -- It was a pleasure for David to have had Weir has a neighbor at Bickford. Weir was so kind and gentle. Thinking of you and sending positive thought and energy your way. Carol Roemig-Heusinkveld
Barb & Jill - Just read about the passing of your father. So sorry, you both are in my Thoughts and Prayers.
Barb, Jill- my sympathy for another loss. JW was my uncle but he was a model human being to me. His patience was endless. I never saw him get angry or drink or smoke. I never heard him cuss or criticize anyone. I never heard him tell a lie or cut any corners. What I did see and hear was an honest, humble, smart, joke telling and patient man. And of course a hard working man. Starting decades ago when things were really hard. It seemed he had the same routine 24/7. Get up early- work,work,work- have lunch- take a nap- then work, work, work some more. There was nothing he couldn't do. If everybody had a fraction of Weir in them the world would be far better.
Jill and family-I would like to extend my deepest sympathy for you'd Father's passing. He did live a long life and had two wonderful daughters. I am very sorry Jill.
Rose
