I was so sorry to hear about Kathy. I have so many memories of her from school, from church, from nursing school. We even worked together for several years in the OR in Cedar Rapids. She was such a hard worker but always happy and smiling, even when we were tired as dogs. I had many happy times laughing with "the Kuhn girls". So very sorry for your loss.

Kathy was a classmate of mine at K-P. I enjoyed seeing her at our 50th class reunions, just the same friendly gals I remembered from high school. She was a hard worker whether in the classroom or on the basketball floor. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother period gone but never to be forgotten.

The Tichy family have been our neighbors for as long as I can remember. At least 25+ years. I have always appreciated knowing that I had people I could count on living next door.

The girls and our kids went to school together and became great friends.

We will miss our friend and neighbor very much.

Katy always seemed to enjoy being a bit of a rebel and one of my favorite memories of her happened one 4th of July weekend at the Kuhn Family Gathering.

She sneakily replaced her nephew Kevin's ISU Cyclone flag with an Iowa Hawkeye flag that she had brought along. It was fun waiting for Kevin to realize the prank that she had played and I might say it did spruce up the place.

Thanks Katy for being a rabble-rouser, you are in our thoughts.

I had the opportunity to work with and get to know Kathy at the care center. She was always talking about her daughters and grandson. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to your family.
