Sorry to hear that a Lady like her has passed on she made me feel at home when i visited Gordon my american legion freind when he was trying to find a copy of the movie Band Of Brothers she will be greatly missed and her Spirit will live on in us

To Shirley's family you have my deepest condolences. I will miss our phone calls especially on her birthday. Both of us enjoyed the time laughing and reminiscing. She was always so kind to invite me in when I was distributing poppies. I really enjoyed Shirley and will miss her terribly. She always closed our calls with "Now don't you forget me".
