I am sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I met Greg in the late 80's after my wife and I moved from Iowa to Colorado. I started playing on the same softball team as him. The team was made up mostly of guys from Illinois and Iowa. He welcomed the addition of another Hawkeye to even out the Illini influence on the team. We would talk for hours about Hawkeye sports. Greg was such a positive person and good friend. He will be missed.
Your loving care of Greg made his last months bearable. Reading about Greg , I saw how much he was his mother. What a fine man he was. My heart hurts for you.
So proud to have known you, Greg. My memories of the 'old neighborhood' will last forever. Our trip to Minnesota is still something I often think about. It was great to see you and Tom recently. Prayers for you and your family.
