Charlotte Lackender was a great, great-step-grandmother. Love, Rylie Coleman.

Char will be greatly missed!!! It was a pleasure to work with her at the Historical Village!!! She always said what was on her mind and always made me laugh on days that I really needed it. I loved it when she would stop in at the visitors center just to see what was up after she retired and brought in her faithful companion for me to adore. So much has changed over the last 5 years here at the museum, many days I wish I could turn back time to share stories with Char and the other gals that worked many years here at the museum, they were so much fun. When I first started and my youngest was just a baby they all volunteered to take care of her while I worked, it was just a great feeling to be around them.

God received a wonderful lady that will change heaven around her and will always be holding her dog.

Its been 20 years since I've seen Mrs Lackender but I remember her and Russell being very kind to me.She was always happy and smiling.I remember hunting pheasants with Doug and others on the farm and when finished we were always offered a "pop".God had a purpose for her when he put her on earth.To be kind,caring and helpful.

Char was a special person, it was always a pleasure to do something for her. She was always happy, funny,bubbly, my day was always better after a visit at her place.

Very saddened to hear of Charlotte's passing. She was such a nice lady; always so cheerful and fun to be around. I really enjoyed knowing her.

So many neat memories of Charsch thru the Jolly 17 years and beyond. Glad she is at peace but know she will be missed. God's blessing on all.
