My sincere condolences on the death of your son Andy. You and your family are in my prayers.

While it was only a short while that I had the opportunity to work alongside Andy on 2JPW, it was enough time to witness an admirable work ethic, kind personality, and deep respect to both patients and fellow coworkers. He was a joy to work with and an asset to our team. My condolences to the family.

Dear Edie and Don...I just saw Andy's obituary in the local paper. I am so very sorry for the loss of your son at such an early age. Parents shouldn't have to suffer through this, but sometimes we have to. I think I last saw Andy when he was about 7-8 years old, but the photo tells me he was, indeed, his father's son! Andy and I were best of friends through high school and after, where you saw one the other would be shortly behind. We had so much fun together doing things that teenagers did some that we probably shouldn't have and others that we REALLY shouldn't have. From working on cars to playing CB tag to just hanging out we made a ton of great memories. When he came back to Iowa from motorcycle school i was super stoked and we ere able to pick up where we had left off. i am going to miss him and the fun that we always would seem to get into.

Andy was a great man, Fire Fighter, father, husband and just an all around good person who will be missed by MANY...
