I and about 25 other young men had the privilege of being coached by Mr Dean in his first years at Pleasantville. He took this rag tag bunch of guys and in three years lead us to an undefeated season in football . He followed with many more successful seasons of football and had even more success with the Girls basketball, leading them to the State Tournament . I always had the utmost respect for him as a coach along with being a really good Person . I made it a point to keep in touch and visit him several times over the years. He always treated me as a friend and I feel so fortunate to of had him and Sherry in my life . Rest In Peace COACH !
We have lost a good person and a friend of many. I could spend an afternoon thinking about the many ways that Harry and I spent time together from high school up until about a year ago. I enjoyed his wit, his opinions about serious matters, and of course sports. I called him several times at the West Branch facility and wish that I had called more often. I am sorry for your loss and I hope that your warm memories of Harry will help ease the pain of your loss. Dale
