I only met Keli four times, but I immediately liked her. She seemed so sympatico, and easy to talk to. The first time I met her was about three years ago when Keli, Angelis, and I attended a tennis tournament in Cedar Rapids to watch Rich Redfern play a match. Another time was also in Cedar Rapids, when Keli, Angelis, Rich, and I went to a Cuban restaurant that was out of half of the things on the menu. And once in North Liberty at Rich's place, when Rich and Angelis made dinner for Keli, Ken, and me, and afterwards we played a riotous game of "Bananagrams." And lastly, at Angelis's place in Iowa City: in the hectic atmosphere of Angelis getting ready to move to Seattle, Keli was so cool and calm as she cleaned out the refrigerator, and helped pack boxes.

I'm glad I met her four times; I wish it could have been more.

I am so sorry to hear about this, I'm sorry to say I didn't even know she was sick. There's really nothing you can say when something like this happens when you lose someone you love pain is all you know. I am so sorry to her family and her children and I offer my condolences to you all. Brooke was a wonderful friend to me in childhood and I remember her sister very well. I hope peace finds you all.

Kelli was an awesome lady. I knew Kelli from high school and we played volleyball together, She was fun to be around. I also had the pleasure of working with Kelli at Pearson in Iowa City for a short time with scoring. Kelli was always talking about her garden, which she thought of as therapy. She loved enjoying and sharing the fruit of her labor. She grew the best garlic!! She was also so proud of her family and spoke of them all the time. Thoughts and prayers with the family to heal. Love and miss you Kelli!!

Keli was my first cousin. She was one of the nicest people I had ever met. She will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Keli in Child Support. She was very professsional and an approachable attorney. I did not always agree with her but I always respected her and her position. More importantly she was kind and considerate and never thoght she was better than the rest of us just because she was an attorney,

I knew Keli when she worked in Muscatine. She was kind and respectful- a true professional. She also cared deeply about her clients. She will be missed.

My heart is breaking. Keli and I share a birthday and always made time to talk yet I had no idea ahe was ill. Ahe never said a word. I had planned to see her at Iowa homecoming this year but now that is crushed. I am so heartbroken. I hope that she didn’t tell me because she knew how much it bothered me when my mom died from the exact same breast cancer when i was in. High school. Keli was such an smazing girl. Growing up in The Burg was not easy for anyone but she shined and really made something of herself for everyone yo be proud of. After law school when she was dping legal clinic we would have so many talks and she was so proud of her husband and daughter. She truly loved her family and truly loved the most simple things especially her garden. I am just so sad. So somber. She was a gift to all that knew her. Love you Keli.

I had the privilege of being Keli’s assistant at Cedar Rapids CSRU. We had many fun conversations about food, religion, books, movies, pets, and family. She never once complained and always put others first. A true kind and caring woman Keli was! I will greatly miss talking to and seeing her each day.
