Condolences
Janice, Sending my deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your Dear Mother. May your many happy memories comfort you. Sincerely, Patty Thompson Hackathorn
Me and barb didn't know you. But we meet your daughter at Howards funeral. We are so sorry for your loss. We know how it feels.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all - Janice, Jim, Diane, Bev and Barb. We have so many fond memories of our family gatherings with the Walters; camping, fishing, swimming and ALWAYS eating. Watching our mothers giggle when they were together was such a joy! I hope great memories like these will bring comfort to you all at this sad time.

Who could forget Millie's mean deer heart she would fry up after a successful Saturday hunt? I will always replay the scene in my mind of walking towards their basement door in the pre-dawn hours with my Dad on Sunday mornings every shotgun season. You could smell her cooking before we even opened the door and hear the laughter and jokes from Mel and Harold as we opened it and walked in. I can still hear her voice as I would sit and talk with her and Mel in their kitchen, until my stomach hurt from laughing at one of Mel's stories. They were both one of a kind as well as kind souls that I'm so lucky and blessed to have known. I bet she's frying up some deer heart for Lowell and Mel right now - in fact I KNOW she is, I can smell it as I type this message to you all!! Deepest sympathy for you JD, Jim and the rest of the gang.
Millie was a wonderful woman but you kids already know that. She loved her family very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Dear Diane and Walters family--
Mildred's family and Ruth's family have always been intertwined over the years. We spent so much time together at each other's homes and down by the river. Things changed as we all became adults but, the fact that I still love all of you has not changed. Support one another and stay strong. Love, Wanda
Bev,
Deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Prayers, love and hugs to all of you. May your memories sustain you in the days, weeks and months ahead. Much love . . .
I spent many good times with Aunt Mildred and my sweet cousins. I loved staying overnight with them and always had a great time and wonderful memories. I will always remember her great laugh and she loved her kids and adored her husband. She will be missed, but the memories will live forever. Love and prayers to Janice, Diane, Jim, Bev and Barb. Thinking about you all right now and praying for peace for you all.
