Dear Charlie, Arthur, Robert and Erika,

It was with sadness that we received the news of Karl's passing. John occasionally visits with Arthur at the Mill and was told of Karl's condition. We have both, on a very few occasions also got to visit with Karl at the Mill.

We remember with fondness your family being good neighbors to us over forty years ago in North Liberty. We have thought of your families and other families in that area. We were happy there as newlyweds and becoming parents while living in North Liberty.

Perhaps this holiday season will not be a happy one with Karl being gone but take comfort in knowing that we are thinking of you and yours.
