Obituary of Maliyah Jenae Nicole Ross

Maliyah Jenae Nicole Ross passed peacefully into the Lord’s arms March 15th, 2019. Maliyah was born on March 15th, 2019. During her short time here on earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by her family.  Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on in our memories. Maliyah is the daughter of Diamond Hargrove and Ahamd Ross, of Iowa City, Iowa. She is survived by her paternal grandparent Ronnie Ross and maternal grandparents Gloria Hardiman, Robert Wright, Nicolette Hargrove, Lakisha and Tarrence Washington, a godmother and godfather Jhonetta Dunmore and Bruce Teague. Two special aunts Tonya Hargrove Slatter and Amber Hardiman; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a great aunt Angie Hardiman, Great Grandparents Eithan and Freida Curry, and a grandmother Hidie Ross.

Funeral services will be held at Good News Bible Church on March 23rd, 2019. There will be a graveside service at Memory Gardens in Iowa City, Iowa. Following this service there will be a meal at Good News Bible Church and the family invites you to join them.
