In looking for something else, I happened upon the notice of your son’s untimely passing. Although I didn’t know your son, I felt as though I got to know him as I read your wonderfully and lovingly written obituary - filled with so many beautiful details that describe your son so well! I am so sorry for your loss! May all the memories you have with Sam give you comfort. It sounds like you were the best parents Sam could have had! May knowing that help give you some peace on days you need it.

I was the librarian at North Bend when I first met Sam. His love for books was so special to see firsthand. He always asked for Elmo books and the delight in his eyes when one was given to him was priceless. This will be a cherished memory for me. Sam was special and will be missed by all who knew him. Please accept my deepest condolences and know he touched everyone he met.
I am so saddened to hear the news about Sam. I met Sam when he was almost 3 years old and had the pleasure of having Sam at school with me until he graduated elementary school in 5th grade. I will always remember Sam's smile and the chats that he and I would have. He was a special young man and he will always have a very special place in my heart. My deepest sympathies to you.
Mike and Lisa, our prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. Although we only met Sammy a few times we heard many wonderful stories of his love and joy from your Mom Suzanne, when she visited Aunt Beth and her family.

Our hearts ache for the loss of sweet Sam. The kiddos are so sad to lose their sweet friend too soon, there was so much playing left to do. Sam was surrounded by such amazing love everyday of his short life. You were incredible parents always off on another Sam adventure. I can't imagine your pain as he goes on this adventure with out you, but know he is still surrounded by love. We love you both and send you prayers for peace.
