Chris, Aimee, Chuck and Andy I was really sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was a great lady and always really nice to me. I have a lot of great memories of the Grant Street house. I am sorry that I did not see the notice sooner or I would have been there. I hope you all can find some peace in this difficult time. Love, Jeff

I met Jane through my friend and colleague, Madeline Sullivan. Madeline had introduced us at the time Jane was remodeling her kitchen. I had the privilege of working with her through that process as an interior designer. She was delightful to work with!
At the time, she was anticipating the birth of a grandchild and shared her knitting projects with me. She also served Madeline and I a wonderful "thank you" lunch, which included a most delicious mushroom soup!
Although I didn't know her well, I enjoyed the time spent with her. She was a special person!
My condolences to all of her family and friends. Enjoy the celebration of her life in her backyard, a very special tribute!
In sympathy, Lori Waters
Jane was a terrific mother, sister, and friend. Her determination to complete her PhD before her 50th birthday fulfilled. Driving daily to Muscatine for her work with children. Her compassion for students and their families was exceptional and will live on in their hearts and lives. The support she gave to her brother Dennis during his struggles with PD while also living with PD exemplified her love for him. Sincere sympathy to all the family. May she rest in peace after the journey of life well lived.
I was lucky enough to meet Jane though my friend Abby! She was a remarkable caring women. I will miss her. My prayers are with you all. Dippiest condolences to family and friends
Jane was truly a great professional and wonderful friend. We worked together for many years at Mississippi Bend A.E.A.; her knowledge and caring for people were outstanding. We made a good team working together because we both spoke our minds but tried to be tactful. Her willingness to fight for her beliefs continued until the end when she endured so many health complications. I have truly lost and will truy miss a GOOD friend-- our lunches, conversations, and solving the world"s probems!!
I am so sad to hear of Jane's passing. She was a joy to have in my exercise class. I will also remember our trip together to the PD conference in Waterloo. We shared memories of Clovis and she told me so many wonderful stories of her life. My prayers are with you all.
May your soul be at peace.
Love
Jessica, Jamie and Tanna
I will miss you my dear friend. Your independence, humor and cynical nature drew me to you when we met at the MBAEA and I've cherished our friendship ever since. I'll keep up the good fight in your honor and you'll always be in my heart with the memory of many fun times, good conversations and shared attitudes. I always knew I could count on you to be there.
I am so sorry for your loss! Jane was like a second mom to me while growing up. If she wasn't off playing tennis, she was trying to get Amy to clean her room upstairs! We had such a fun time at Lake Okoboji. I was always jealous of how logical and cool-headed she was while dealing with her teenagers and can really appreciate that even more now that I have my own teens. She will be greatly missed by her family and anyone who was lucky enough to meet her!
