Dear Conroy Family:
Thanks to the C. R. Chapter of NOW, Kathy and I were privileged to read about the many fine qualities and accomplishments of your mother Joanne. Our sympathy for your loss and wish you all comfort in fond memories of her.

It was a joy & privilege to know Jo. We did Tai Chi together. We protested war and injustice together at the Pentacrest. We laughed. She was a gem.
JoAnne was generous and kind beyond words. Intelligent, compassionate, unassuming and present. You're all in my heart and thoughts. Such a tremendous loss. Rest in peace, my lovely second mom.
This is such a beautiful tribute to your mother. It is so amazing how she kept on course with caring for you all and finding time to further her interests and education One thing you will all be certain of through your lives is that you had your moms unconditional love. Bless her for her dedication to her children.
My condolences to the entire Conroy family. Your mom was always so kind and compassionate. I wish I could be there for the celebration of her life!
With deepest sympathy. Annie, my heart is with you & all your siblings & all the grandchildren. I am grateful to have known your mom & for her social activism and the legacy she leaves behind in all of you. I’m so sorry for your loss. With love & caring, Carol
Met Jo at the Sr. Center---tai chi and other classes. Enjoyed her comments on politics or Cubs and sharing a Center bus tour to southern Iowa. A GREAT lady!!
You know more than others how she'll be missed.
Heartfelt sympathies to Barney and the entire Conroy clan! Peace & Love-
I will remember Joanne's spirit like a slowely growing beautiful tree. Resilient, strong and outreaching.
