Obituary of Phyllis N Eaton

Phyllis N. Eaton, age 93 of Iowa City formerly of Humboldt, Iowa died Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the Windmill Manor Care Center in Coralville.

Phyllis was born September 23, 1926, in Pioneer, Iowa the daughter of Ernest and Olive (Weaver) Craig.  She was united in marriage to William Eaton on April 15, 1947, in Jackson, Minnesota.  The couple and their family lived many years in Humboldt, Iowa.  William Died in 1992, and in 2001 Phyllis moved to the Iowa City area to be near family members.  Phyllis enjoyed sewing, her gardens, flowers and most of all her family.

Her family includes her children, Bonita Peltz (Harold), Lynda Heyen, Bill Eaton (Sherry), and Julie Wilder; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, and 10 siblings.
