My sincere condolences to Holmes and family for the loss of Elaine. I remember her as a happy and energetic person. I had the pleasure of seeing her in Goliad, mostly after Jimmie moved there. Mary Jon / daughter of Richard P Shelton
We are so sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. We remember fondly our backyard/cocktail visit discussing our various travels. She will be so missed in our neighborhood. Love Maureen and Andy Russo
Heartfelt condolences to Holmes and family for their profound loss. Elaine’s joyful and giving life will remain in the memory of many. At one point Elaine and my wife Jean became regular duplicate bridge partners, and numerous tales of their joys and misfortunes at the bridge table are etched in my mind.
To Holmes and family, sending healing thoughts and love to all. Elaine was such an amazing woman; what a loss to you all and to all who knew and loved her. Gene would have wanted to send condolences; he thought so much of you both. He admired you both so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dot (Mrs. Gene) Hinman
I didn't know your mother, but after reading her obituary I really wish I had. She was everything I aspire to be and did so many things I hope to do. Your loss is immense; be comforted to know she was a remarkable woman who led a remarkable life.
Dear Holmes and family, sincerest condolences from all of the staff (past and present) at the Office of the State Archaeologist, Sincerely, John Doershuk, State Archaeologist
