Betty was a very special person. She always treated me with so much love and kindness. I have so many fond memories of summers in Fort Madison with her and her family. Linda and Patty, I thought the world of both of you and loved looking after you. Betty meant so much to me that she was my first sons godmother. Betty will truly be missed by many especially me. Wish I could be there to celebrate her life but due to my health I won't be able to attend. But know I am there in spirit thinking about how wonderful she was to me. Lola Jennings
Betty was one of those special people who greeted everyone with a smile. I feel so lucky to have known her and I enjoyed working with her at Pearson's Drug Store for many years.
Sending her family my thoughts and prayers from Arizona.
We were sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Although I have not seen her for many years, she was always smiling and ready to converse. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Keith and Judy Grothe
Loved my 7 years as a neighbor to Pearson's. George, Bob, the HS girls(Anne), and the 2 Bettys made for a wonderful neighborhood pharmacy. Always greeted with a warm smile. - Bob Dane, the Nickelodeon.
What a wonderful lady. Roger and I knew her for 56 years....a long time. We loved her smile and her stories. May she rest in Gods arms. Our prayers are with her family and friends and we are sorry we cannot be there for the services.
Dear Letts Family, My condolences. Betty was a dear person with such a positive attitude and manner. I knew her from Pearsons. She was very proud of her loving family. Peace to you, Mary C. McCarthy
