Obituary of Christina Sue Bacon

Christina S. Bacon, age 55, of Iowa City, died Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after falling ill earlier in the day. Her family includes her mother, Evelyn Christophersen; two sons, Richard “R.J” Truitt (Beth), and Ryan Bacon; 3 grandchildren, Tucker, Alyviah, and Lyla; a sister, Shannon Belknap (Jeff); and 2 brothers, Jeffrey Bacon and Douglas Bacon. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and special friend, Dean Soper. No public services are being planned, Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for her family and arrangements.
