Condolences
Joyce and I lost touch after we both married. We became friends early on after working at Happy Chef together. We went to dances in Walford and Swisher. She was always so sweet and caring. I am truly sorry in your families loss. We moved to Phoenix after marrying.
I am greatly saddened in hearing of Joyce's passing, and I wish the best to the family she left behind. I was a former student of Joyce's back in the mid 70's. I had just refound her within the last few months and was.hoping to see her again when my visit needed to be postponed due to my job schedule and then Covid. Unfortunately, I will not get the opportunity now.
Joyce is, and always will be my favorite teacher of all time. Her bubbly personality and ability to inspire those around her to want to be a part of something was amazing. I'm sure that the challenges she and her family have faced these last couple years have been heart wrenching and I pray for everyone's comfort as time moves on.
God Bless you Joyce. You will truly be missed.
I was so blessed to have Joyce as a true and loyal friend. She was beautiful inside and out, so sweet and kind to all, with that wonderful smile! She spoke often and lovingly of Dave and Gina and her parents. She was just the best listener. We shared so much and that is so meaningful. I will think of her often and remember her always. (Pat)
Joyce and Dave were very good friends of ours, just the best friends you could ever find. Joyce took loving care of many rescue dogs. She was the best friend a dog could ever have. That says a lot about the kind of person she was. (Walt)
We extend our sympathy to Dave and Gina and Joyce's extended family.
Love, Walt and Pat Loukota
Joyce was a wonderful person. I really enjoyed the time I had with her. She was a sweet and loving person. She will be missed.
Our deepest condolences for your loss, Dave and Gina. Even tho we didn't personally know Joyce, we know thru you, Dave, she was a wonderful wife and mother and she will be missed by many. Ron and Donna
Our sincere condolences to David, Gina, and Joyce's entire extended family. We very much enjoyed Joyce's company, and are grateful that she and David were able to visit us in our California home during happier times.
Joyce, always with a ready smile and a gentle voice which reflected her lovely singing voice. Watching David and Joyce dance together was a treat! They only saw each other! Even to Joyce's last days, her daughter, Gina, and husband, David, were by her side with loving, warm words and hugs. She is blessing you both with love as you blessed her. You and the whole family are in our hearts. Love, Tom and Joan Cook
I taught with Joyce at Hayes Elementary School many years ago. I remember her cheerful attitude and nice smile. My sincere sympathies to her family.
