Robert Gene "Bob" Eggers
1950 - 2020
Condolences
Bob was so kind, and always came quickly when I needed his help. He will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayer's are with all of you at this difficult time. Bob was a great man with a great sense of humor, his smile could light up your day. Then listening to him tell a story was even better, he could play the part with such humor and grace. I was in Oxford a few years ago and he saw me and invited me to come over, we had a lot of fun talking about all the old times. He was also Super Man to my mom! He got to know my mom pretty well over the years in that trailer she lived in... I think she would call him and tell him what was wrong and he would have it fixed before she even knew he was there. God Bless You Bob...And if you could do one last thing for me, give P.J. a big kick in the butt from me. See you on the other side my friend:)
Bobby Eggers--one of THEE original wild and crazy guys. I have such great memories of growing up as a 'Tiffin kid' , and many include the Eggers family. Carol, Skeet and Mary Lou all babysat us kids, and once in a while Mom would drop us off at that big wonderful house in Tiffin for a few hours as well. Such a big, wonderful, boisterous family. And I remember Bobby being so dang funny!! He would do the craziest things to just make us laugh! I remember laughing so hard my stomach and cheeks would hurt!! He was a fun, fun guy. I'm so very sorry for your loss of your Dad, Grampa, Father-in-law, Brother and Friend. He lives on in the best of all of you, and I can honestly say in many happy memories for more people than you can probably imagine. It's so hard to have someone just suddenly be gone, but It's wonderful imagining the reunion taking place up there!! Peanuts and Pepsi, pinball machines and pool tables, a lot of smack talk---and probably more than a few smokin' tires--!!! Rest in Peace, Bobby.
My arms are around each of you in a deeply heartfelt hug. Take care and God Bless. Peggy Verry Hatley
To all the Eggers Families: I worked with Bob a couple of years ago for the first time after being a mere acquaintance most of my life. He truly was a good soul and always ready to help. He was a good story teller and we had some interesting conversations. What a great guy and I will truly miss him. Karen remembers his visits to the Tiffin Post Office and his conversations but most of all his friendliness and great smile. Our condolences to the entire Eggers Family. Bill and Karen Ruppert
Eggers Family - My sincerest sympathies to each of you in the loss of Bob. Our Verry family has so many wonderful memories of us all growing up together in the Tiffin community and the connections shared i.e. babysitting for us as "kids", school classmates, etc. Bob had a great smile and laugh - always a warm hello whenever we would see him on our trips back to Iowa to see our families. I am hopeful your own special memories of Bob uplift your hearts during this sad time of transition and adjustment to his not being here on earth. His memory and spirit live on in each of you. He joins beloved family members and community friends above and I'm pretty sure Jeff Verry is in that receiving line to say "hello" and say "let me show you around a bit". Heartfelt hugs to each of you.
Best, Julie Verry

So very sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your dad. It is so hard to lose a parent! My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time now and in the days ahead. In time the heartbreak will mend and your sadness and sorrow will be replaced by smiles and gratitude as you celebrate your dad and the special memories that will be held in your hearts until the day that you are all reunited again! Take comfort in knowing that the spirit of the Lord is especially close to you all at this time and always!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Egger family. I came to the class of 68 as a freshman and probably never got to know Bob well, but it was good to see him at our 50 th class reunion. In sympathy. Ken and Linda ( Walters) Vawter
I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great guy. I also remember him from Payless Cashways when he worked with my late husband, Andy.
Prayers to the family,

I am saddened by the death of a childhood friend. I grew up with Bob, when we moved to Tiffin when I was 2 yrs old, they lived across the street from us, then later they moved up across the highway. We were always friends throughout our growing up . I wish I had made it to our class reunion to see him one last time. I have many memories of him, including one about a dog he talked me into taking! I think my first "crush" was on him in grade school, but then all the girls had a crush on him at one time or another. He was cute and always fun to be with. I hope things will get back to normal so we can all celebrate his life at a later date. My prayers are with his family.

My thoughts & prayers are with the entire Eggers family. Thanks Bob for all the wonderful work you did for me and helping me to understand what we were doing. Rest In Peace.
So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I worked with Bob at Payless Cashways. I always remember him getting a Pepsi and a bag of peanuts every morning. Dumping the peanuts in the can of Pepsi and drink, eat his breakfast!! He was a very nice guy and he will be missed by many. Prayers to the Eggers family.

Bob was a long time friend of mine and he will be missed. Can’t think of a time when he was not offering to help and he helped me a lot. RIP my friend until we meet agin.
My heart is heavy. To say Bob and i raised a little hell back in the day would be an understatement. We had a lot of good times in that old green 54 chevy. We didnt need a race track we just made our own. Rest in peace buddy till we meet again. God bless.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Bob was a great guy and a friend to all! Always a smile on his face!
My thoughts and prayers are with you! Sandy Hora
I am so sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Bob’s “back in the day.” As I recall, he was a “good guy.” I was a friend of his sister’s (Skeet who married my cousin Tom Morgan). I pray Bob is at peace in the loving arms of our Father in heaven. May your many memories bring you comfort. God bless. Jackie Morgan Mossman
Randy and I send our heartfelt condolences. Bob truly would have given the shirt off his back to family and friends. Randy remembers how he looked up to Bob as a kid growing up and later shared good times as an adult. Bob always held a special place in my heart as one of the few "Tiffin kids" in our class. His favorite game on the playground was "tag" as he would kiss the girls when he caught them! R.I.P. Bob.
