Obituary of Kejuan Tyshuan Winters

Kejuan Tyshuan Winters (KT) was born August 1, 1998 to Makevia Jackson and Tyris Winters. Kejuan was baptize on April 1, 2012 by Rev. Floyd D. James in Chicago, IL. Kejuan loved spending time with his family playing video games. Kejuan graduated from City High in 2016. He worked in food service for a number of years. Kejuan leaves to cherish his memories his mother and father Makevia Jackson; Tyris Winters; two daughters Kamaya and Kaliyah Winters; two brothers Tyris Jr. and Daquan Winters; two sisters Danyel Winters and Chloe Watson; grandmothers Darlene Jackson and Gladys Watkins; grandfathers Louis Gunartt and William Winters; two uncles Tony Watkins and Freddie Gardner; two aunts Monique Jackson and Maranda Gunartt; great grandmothers Evell Jackson Earnestine Street. A host of great aunts/uncles cousins and friends. Two special friends TaShauna Gooden and Jeremiah Seals. His grandfather Micheal Street proceeded him in death. A time of visitation will be held from 1 to 3 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Strict compliance of the social distancing guideline will be in effect. No more than 10 person's will be allowed in the funeral home at a time, funeral staff will allow entrance of family and friends in accordance to these guidelines. While waiting outside, we ask that person's remain in their cars to respect guidelines.
