Obituary of Chavella Kessler

Chavella Kessler, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Her family includes her husband, Michael Wendler; sons, Dakota Kessler and Chayton Wendler; and a daughter, Shaunessey Yerrington. Chavella was born on January 11, 1966, in Iowa City the daughter of Jack and Malinda (Littlesky) Bullard. Following high school she received her nursing training through Kirkwood Community College. She has spent her working career in the nursing profession.
