Dear Tara and Family, So sorry to learn of Mark's passing. I am one of Mark's old friends from the 70's. I met Mark while we were both working as photo copying operators for Collins Radio shortly before I was married in 1974. It was a dead end for both of us, but we made it tolerable by racing all night to see who could run the most copies! Mark was such a good guy! I remember meeting Adrian and Mary, playing golf, and spending lots of time with Mark in conversation and listening to Dylan. A beautiful mind. After I married, Mark came to South Bend Indiana and surprised my wife and me with a visit after he returned from one of his trips to Europe. Tara, you may remember coming to St. Paul Mn to visit us after Molly arrived. While we lost touch with each other over the years, Mark will always be my friend and my time spent with him a special memory. I have kept two poems he wrote and gave me from way back when that I will send along, Tara. I will also share a couple pictures. One of Mark and Molly and one of Molly and my daughter, Kate. My thoughts are with all of you. Godspeed, Mark. Matt Brandes
