Ruth Marie Kjaer

Condolences
Jackie and Family,
Ruth was a wonderful person to work with and as a young tech, a kind "mom" figure to me. So many fond memories of sitting in her office and having a cup of coffee on break. Her life was full and happy in my eyes. God bless your family and prayers for Ruth and all.
Love Ellen Abusada
To the family of Ruth Kjaer, Your parents are remembered by many MCHS '62 classmates. We have fond memories of your parents. We were fortunate to be attending MCHS when Ted was teaching and coaching. We are looking forward to our 60th reunion in 2022. I know your parents will be one of the couples we remember and tell stories about. Ted was a positive influence in our lives! Thinking of you at this sad time. Linda Moen Muth
Ruth and Ted were good friends of my parents, Ed and Hazel Chuck. Ted and Ed coached together as well. Mason City was a great place to live, to raise children, and to form good friendships. The Kjaers were an important part of that time and place for us.
Daddy passed away in 2009 and Mother turns 99 at Christmas time. With our sympathy,

Jackie and Family,
We send our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother. We too know this loss. May she rest in peace.
I had the privilege of taking care of 3 generations of Kjaer’s. The outcome was not always good and we all still grieve for Carolyn. Ruth was the matriarch and she was a class act, coming to my office well groomed, polite and gracious. She never wanted to be dependent on anyone and wondered why she was becoming a burden. I always told her it was not her time and it was now her time to be loved and taken care of. This would reassure her temporarily until her next setback. Believe me, the tenderness and love Jackie displayed taking care of her was one of the highlights of my career and a privilege to witness. Jackie Kjaer, a quiet unsung hero. May God bless her and may people sing her praises !
Jackie and the Kjaer Family - my thoughts and prayers are with you. Heaven gained a special angel on Monday. Ruth may you RIP. Ruth was a special woman and now she is with your dad and Carolyn.
