Condolences
Dorothy and family, I was so sorry to hear of Rays passing! I was in the hospital at the time. Ray was one of the sweetest friends you could ever want! The smile on his face and twinkle in those eyes would make you smile no matter what! Sending warm thoughts and prayers your way!
One of my favorite people on this earth was Ray Grabin. He always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room when you talked to him. He always had a joke, and always had a smile. He was kind and jovial. If only there were more people like Ray......what a great place the world would be.
Sorry for the loss of such a Great Family Member He will be missed, but not forgotten! He always made me Smile, and had something nice to say! Many memories to remember, but always remember Ray and Dad clowning around and going on little trips across the countryside. My sympathy to all Family members and extended Family!
Hugs to all, Donald Tomas
Any time I've ever described Grandpa Grabin to anyone in the past, is still the same as I describe him today: big 'ole huggin' cowboy with the sharpest whisker-kisses you'll ever meet! :) Those hugs and that witty sense of humor will always be remembered fondly. ❤ Much love to my Grabin family!
Love, Carissa
Sending prayer for all Ray's family, wishing you peace in your hearts. Remembering a few years ago when I was Ray's partner while playing cards at the neighbor's, we did pretty well for a while no thanks to me. I was just glad I could keep up my end for a little bit, he was so darn good at cards! He always had a good story to tell and could bring a smile to anyone and everyone. Ray will be remembered fondly and missed by all.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the Grabin Family! In my mind, Ray was one of the great Oxford Cowboys! He always had his cowboy hat on and greeted folks with a big welcoming smile! When I was a young boy, I remember my Grandma and Grandpa Brack getting together with Ray and Dorothy along with other area farmers for big neighborhood card parties! Great memories of an Oxford Legend!

So sad to hear of your loss. Our hearts go out to the entire Grabin family. Ray always had a smile that would brighten up your day.
We always enjoyed Ray. He was so friendly and kind. We are sorry for your loss.
I first met a Ray at my Mom’s 80th birthday party. The minute yours eyes connected with Ray you were smiling back at him. He was always so joyful, thoughtful and fun to be around! Always had a great story to tell. He will be missed but his family will carry on his legacy. Prayers for peace and happy memories made with Ray.
Ray was such a nice man. I’ll never forget all the times that Ray drove by our house and cheered us on as we spent many, many days and summers prepping and repainting the outside of it. It’s almost as if he knew when I was just about ready to give up and throw in the towel, and he would come by honking and complimenting the work we were doing. His encouragement was amazing! He will be missed by many, and always cherished.
Ray and Dorothy usually sat behind our family at church every Sunday. With his cowboy hat and a wink he made me smile and feel special, every week, even into my 30s! As awkward teen girl that was worth more than he knew, or maybe he did. I will always remember that. My thoughts are with the entire Grabin Family.

Lee and all the family sorry for your. You will all be in our prayers . Keep all the good memories in your hearts forever. God Bless!
Such a wonderful kind man, always good to bring a smile to your face!! He was my dads parttner in crime! I know Ray( my dad) and Ray are looking down on us now drinking a Pepsi. Gone but will never be forgotten.
Thank you, Ray, for being such a wonderful father-in-law to my dearest sister, Rosie. She always spoke so highly of you and Dorothy. To your family you have my deepest condolences. May God be with you all in your time of sadness. God Bless.

I think that grandson Reed has expressed in the best possible way the feelings that people had for Ray. I cant add much, but will miss all the times he would stop and talk if he saw me outside. The conversation would always go something like this. He'd say thought I'd stop and see how you're doing. Havent talked to you in awhile. Say, he'd say. That old mule is sure working on your fence, he's got it all mashed down. I'd say, well if that guy in the red cowboy hat would stop making him reach over the fence so he could be petted, maybe he wouldnt be so hard on the fence. Ray would say, well ya know he looked like he needed another old mule to talk to so I stopped to talk to him. I could always count on getting some ribbing. I'm really going to miss that. It was my pleasure to have known one of the last American Cowboys. Great man with a great family.
One of the favorite people you would ever meet. He always had a big smile and always made everyone around him feel good.
Remember Dorothy and he visiting me in the Mgo hospital. Special people.
What a great guy. Ray always had the best smile and a twinkle in his eye. He knew how to tell a story, how to make you laugh and how to make you feel special. We are sad for his family in their loss, but we know your hearts are full of wonderful memories. As the old Roy Rogers song goes:
Happy trails to you,
Until we meet again.
Happy trails to you,
Keep smiling until then.

I don't think that I ever saw him without a smile on his face. He would light up a room with his smile and laughter! I think my first experience with him was as a youngster he was helping us make fence at my grandparents. He used to tease the crap out of us all. And he never forgot it, even after all of these years. He was truly a great man and will be missed by so many. My deepest condolences to your whole family. What a wonderful example of a great man!
It won’t be same riding down Grabin Rd without Ray around, but he will live on through his great family. I didn’t know Ray real well but the times I talked with him he was a very friendly neighbor and gentleman. Our family wishes you peace and great memories until you see him again.

What a good man he was. Years ago, he gave me my first (and only) taste of chewing tobacco. Years ago, when serving as an altar boy at Mass or Stations fo the Cross, he would try to make me laugh, and usually succeeded. A good soul indeed. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord.

I remember Mike coming home and sharing his time spent on your farm. Mike would ride with Joel in the combine because Ray had "stuff" in his and you might need that "stuff". Mike so enjoyed his time spent with Ray.
