Condolences
Barb, I'm so sorry to hear about Dallis. My prayers go out to you and Jeff, Julie and Dean.
Dear Aunt Barbara, I was saddened last night when brother, Al Hulse, told me of Uncle Dallis' passing. You know, you will always be Aunt Barbara and Uncle Dallis to me, because the children you cared for felt that way about both of you. My little John Christee, now 54 yrs. old, always speaks so kindly of both of you and his surrogate siblings, Jeff, Julie and Dean. You helped me through many difficult times by always being so stable, so supportive, so there in times of need. And there was plenty of laughter, good times, and play time that made the days wonderful for those children in your care. You were both so loving and caring....not just of your children, but of those other tag-alongs who came by each morning for your loving care.
You have spent so many years together, Aunt Barbara, that it is hard for me to imagine your life without your beloved Dallis. I pray that the Lord will hold you and your family gently in His loving arms and help you through this difficult time. I am comforted that Dallis is at peace and with the Heavenly Father. My loving thoughts and prayers to all of you in your great loss.

Barb, Dallas was a wonderful man! I remember him as patient, kind doing more than his share when a volunteer was needed, and, of course, an excellent chooser of wives. My condolences to you and your family.
Dear Barb and family,
Our hearts are filled with sadness for all of you. The world has lost a kind and caring man. We are blessed to have so many memories of times spent with Dallis and your whole family. Kristi will be 52 soon so the years are easy to count. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
Sending tight hugs and love,
Beth and Ed Hicks

Our hearts are broken....Dallis was a very special man and friend to so many. He always had a smile in spite of the obstacles he was dealing with in life. He was determined to make everyone he was around..smile...by sharing one of his funny stories. We feel truly blessed to have been lucky enough to have known him and to spend as much time with Barb and him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family during this very difficult time. RIP..Dallis....until we meet again...
