Condolences
My son, Adam and I rode with Ed on the IA 150. He will be fondly remembered. Take Care & God Bless ~ Julie Mefferd
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. So many years have passed leaving us with some wonderful memories.
My sincerest sympathy to your family. I worked for Ed at the Clerk of Court's office and he was my all time favorite boss. You are all in my prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I was very lucky to have worked for Ed for many years at the Clerk of Court office. I recall him even riding his bike to work many times! Something I was always in awe over and I was much younger and sure I wouldn't have been able to do that!
I have many fond memories of my time there with him as our leader. I would also add that I have stayed in touch and have decades long friendships with my coworkers. Surely in part because he took the chance to hire us and because of the wonderful work environment he provided.
May your wonderful memories of Ed bring you comfort.

Narji,
I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss....I know it has been quite a struggle for Ed and also you. Always remember Ed's smile and know he's watching down on you. God has another angel, you were blessed to have such a wonderful husband and he also was blessed to have you in his life.
My sincerest sympathy,
Hugs to you,

To the Steinbrech Family:
I was sorry to hear about Ed's passing. I worked with Ed at the Clerk of Courts office prior to going to law school and as an attorney in Iowa City for several years had the pleasure of working with Ed as Clerk of Court. Ed was a joy to work with and a joy to know. My sympathy to all of you.

Nargi. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim and Margaret Hennes.
Nargi and family,
Be assured of my prayers during this time. Your family has been a source of inspiration in faith-filled love and compassionate care to many, including Ed. May the giftedness that only a family can come to know and treasure continue be a source of God's comfort and blessings in this journey.

My sincerest sympathies to Nargi, Angela, Ken, Michael, and Doug. Such great neighbors and friends growing up. The birthday parties, wiffle ball games, roller skating, playing school... It was a great time to be a kid! I miss those simpler times, I miss Danny dearly, and will now miss Ed. You are all in my prayers and wish I could hug each and every one! Please take comfort in each other and the fond memories that will stay with you always.

our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. Bless you all! Terese Worrell Lisenbee and family
We want to extend our sympathy to Ed's family. Knowing Ed has given us many great memories. He was always kind and had a smile for you. We'll remember happy times and how could we forget him still being able to wear his 1970's leisure suit. Ed will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in peace, Ed.
