I had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know Reta when I was teaching at Grant Wood School in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Every time I had the opportunity to talk with her, for whatever reason, I so thoroughly enjoyed those times with her and I knew we were quite fortunate to have her as a colleague. Her smiles and her kindesses will always be remembered. Through recent years I have thought of Reta often and felt sad that our paths did not cross in later years. Such good memories of a wonderful and supportive woman.,

Reta was a force of nature. She did everything and she did everything well.I will cherish Memories of our families going on fishing trips and family parties and of course the yearly Keg draining. There are just too many to count. She was always much more than an aunt to me.
Rest In Peace Sweet Soul.
I will definitely miss my grandmother, Reta. I have so many fond memories of Lepic Christmas gatherings and looking forward to her oyster stuffing. She taught me many things - how to find morel mushrooms, how to dig up wild horseradish, how to make cinnamon toast with the right mix of butter, cinnamon, and sugar, and how to find geodes on family vacations in Minnesota. She also taught me how to twist up my hair and sleep in bobby pins to create curls. Although that hurt a little, it was fun doing it with my grandma. One thing I never told her was that I knew where she hid the Christmas presents when I was a kid and I always needed to pretend to be surprised when I opened them on Christmas Day. Fortunately, I did tell her how much I loved her. I will miss her very much.

Our Sincerest Condolences to the Lepic Family. Her Sister (Ruby is my Grandmother). The family resemblance between them is strong as is the Love and kindness Reta gave to her friends and family. God Bless....
So many fond memories of Reta. I always loved the stories about bring up three boys and the adventures she had to deal with, probably on a daily basis. So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady.
Reta shared the same birthday as my mother,New Years Eve. After my mother passed I always looked forward to our NYE birthday call. I’ve enjoyed watching her legacy live on through her children and Grands.
A life well lived❤️
Cherish the memories
I have so many memories of Aunt Rita . Every Spring Rita would drive out to the farm and take home a huge haul of rhubarb to make pies, jams , etc.
I also had the honor of working with her at Grant Wood school. A beautiful, loving and kind person. My mom had so many stories, like the time Rita was told not to climb so high in the tree which she did, the limb broke and she fell breaking her arm. She was a true tomboy! She was certainly a cherished Aunt, and will be missed by all who knew her. Warmly, Barb Winborn
I knew Reta as a member of the Nathaniel Fellows Chapter NSDAR. When she was able to attend meetings she always had something to share, whether related to the program or to some other topic of discussion. She had a very vibrant and infectious personality. She was a joy to be around as am sure other members would attest, she helped us always learn more with her being present at our meetings. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
