Obituary of Bronson L. Ganka
Bronson L. Ganka, 40, of Iowa City, died, Friday, April 18, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
A gathering to celebrate Bronson's life will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014, from noon until 8 p.m., at the Johnson County 4-H Fairgrounds in building C, please dress casually. Memorials in Bronson's memory can be directed to his family at www.youcaring.com.
Bronson Lance Ganka was born, September 30, 1973, at Camp Lejeune, NC. He graduated from Clear Creek Amana High School in 1992. On October 19, 2002, he married Kara Corkery in Las Vegas, NV. He has worked alongside his brother, Weston, in construction for the last several years. Bronson will be remembered as the life of any party, always brightening the room with his smile. He was an avid supporter of Hawkeye wrestling and football, and always cheered for the Bears; but most of all, he adored his children, and cherished the time spent with them!
His family includes his wife, Kara; children, Devin, Madysen and Autumn; parents, Lance and Linda Ganka of Coralville; brother, Weston Ganka (Heather) of Ladora and their son, Diesel as well as numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alan and Muriel Ganka and Betty and Swede Hansen as well as an infant sister, Amber, and mother-in-law, Sharon Corkery.
