Obituary of Bonnie Eileen Wyllie

Bonnie Eileen Wyllie, 82, of Iowa City, Iowa, died November 23, 2020, at Iowa City Rehab & Health Care Center. The daughter of H. Lloyd Center and Charlotte E. Thrash Rogers, she was born November 1, 1938, in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1956. On January 30, 1957, she married James E. Wyllie at Kirksville, Missouri and they resided in the Marshalltown, Cedar Rapids, Mount Vernon, and the Iowa City, Iowa area. Bonnie worked in childcare for a number of years and as a care person. Bonnie was employed as a housekeeper for a nursing home in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Iowa City. Survivors include one sister, Jean Scholtus, of Oskaloosa, IA; one daughter, Janet E. Wyllie, of Iowa City, IA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great ones. He husband, Jim preceded her in death along with the couple had a still born infant daughter named Jennifer Sue Wyllie who is buried.
