I am so saddened by the loss of the kind, compassionate, passionate, bright, sensitive, dependable, and fun person Ryan always proved to be. The world will be a little darker without him. I have worked with Ryan for the past few years at Pearson, and it was always a bonus when we were assigned to the same project! I learned a great deal about Ryan on the few occasions we chatted over a local brew (or two). His smile beamed so consistently, that one would never know the profound personal hurdles and struggles he faced. His optimism was truly inspirational. We shared an appreciation of Madison’s annual Great Taste, although I had only experienced it one time (as opposed to his annual appearance). We also shared an appreciation of Starbucks coffee. I will miss Ryan’s hugs, great conversations, his smile, his optimism, and perseverance. It is hard to believe that I won’t be seeing that little red Honda flying past me on a semi regular basis. Megan, you are amazing. Thank you for keeping us informed through this difficult time. Though your own heart was breaking, you continually showed compassion for everyone who knew and cared about Ryan. I pray for peace and send love to all of Ryan’s family and friends. ~ Laura
