Richard "Dick" Rembolt

Condolences
Penny and family it’s with a heavy heart that I write this after hearing about Dick. Dick was a great boss to me when I worked with him in Philly. I’ll never forget him and I driving to Providence Rhode Island and back to Philly the same day to see the Hawkeyes play in the NCAA tournament. I learned so much from him and cherished the times I worked for him. To me he was a great father figure, boss and friend. He made me laugh every day. I’ll never forget what a great mentor he was to me and how much he trusted me early in my career. May he Rest In Peace in Hawkeye heaven.
I'm so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I worked with Dick at Pearson, he was a great guy. During that time I interviewed Dick about his time in service as a pilot. I still have the recording of that interview, about an hour long, if anyone is interested in it.

I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I'm honored to consider Dick a friend from our time working together at Pearson. He was the kindest and gentlest of men with a wonderful sense of humor. And we shared our love of the Hawkeyes. He will be dearly missed.
Penny and family,
So sad to hear of Dick’s passing. We were pledge and fraternity brothers at UNI from freshman and Sophomore years ‘67-‘68. We had lots of great times together during those years, many of which he graciously did all the driving to. Always fun, always gracious, always a solid friend to all of us. It appears he was that gentleman we saw throughout his entire life. This fellow Panther and Hawkeye left us all too soon.
Kindest Regards,

Penny and Family,
We are so sad to hear of Dick's passing. He was such a kind and giving individual. We were very fortunate that he was willing to be Evan's mentor for confirmation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Bill and Patty Ferrel
I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Dick years ago at Pearson. He was a joy to work with; a great colleague. We were lucky to have known him.
Penny: My deepest sympathies in the loss of your beloved husband. I love the photo of him. I know Terry and Dick had some good conversations about military life. You were truly blessed. Jan Thein

My friend Dick Rembolt has gone on ahead. SUCH a great guy!.. I met Dick at City High when I would watch practice once in awhile. Friends ever since. He and my longtime friend and classmate Penny Winnie, were a match!. MY condolences to all of the of the FAMILY. My Mom used to play bridge with Dick's MOM, and over the years we always got updates on the status of Dick/Penny and the family. I trust that God needs Dick and that is the reason he has been called home. A Marine to the end.
